deadeyesunder

I remember buying this album from Dan Gump of Life Sentence Records fame at a xClearx show at good ol' Tower Theatre in Salt Lake City. This happens to be the same venue where a buddy of ours cold clocked Vanilla Ice in the face, but that's a whole other story. This album brutalized my face from the very first listen. It's just so much more raw and real than all the glossy crap that you see coming out these days. I don't think this band stuck around long unfortunately, in fact this may have been their only release but don't hold me to that. Here is their myspace page, make sure that you listen to Stricken Apathesia for the good stuff.

  1. I remember buying this the same night as you. I don't have a clue at what show it was. I remember hearing this and getting kicked square in the teeth. This was some evil sounding crunchy stuff. Abrasive, fast, and a step in a different direction for me. This was about the same time my love for hardcore was starting to transition into metal love, so this fit perfectly. I was stoked to see it here. Some more good memories. Thanks for the post J.
